I'm Sarah, the founder of Harris Films. We are a small team of wedding film-makers based on the Isle of Wight, which offers services to all couples near and far.

My story began 15 years ago, when I made my first ever film in a Media Studies class for an A-level project. It was a short film, captured on a misty summer's day at a local beach, and edited to one of my favourite Sarah McLachlan songs. Without knowing at the time, this became the start of a new, exciting venture.

Fast-forward a few years; from graduating university with a degree in Digital Media; I worked alongside my wedding-photographer husband, Jason (http://jasonmarkharris.com/), producing numerous wedding films alongside of a regular job. Finally, since becoming a mum, I made the decision to embrace the desire to capture real love stories through film, and so Harris Films was established.

With a passion for classic movies; inspired by cinematic film style and atmospheric music; I am often left in awe wanting to encapsulate that same feeling within our own films. Harris Films endeavours to capture real-life moments, emotions and connections.

Our film-makers share a like-minded ethos when working with our couples. When we film, we do so discreetly. We respect the intimacy of your occasion and we like to blend in. We use small, mirrorless cameras and discreet sound recorders - our gear is kept to the minimal to avoid distraction. We make the best of natural light and love a beautiful sunset. We dress as though we are guests - in fact more than likely, your actual guests won't even know your occasion is being filmed.
